Miss Hartward is a kindred living in Halpine House.

Miss Hartward was an enforcer of Prince Layton. Due to overzealous, though not as misplaced as they seemed, suspicions she offended the coterie. However, Lord Krain took umbrage at the way Prince Layton handled the way she was to be disciplined for her behaviour—which eventually led to the fall and demise of Prince Layton.

With the installation of a new Prince of Salt Lake City, she went from being an enforcer for the Prince to persona non grata due to her previous status. After the chaotic change of power Lady Gallorett took her to London. She was introduced in London in the season of 1877.
