The western counterpart to the Hive Manse is still very much active. While it has been a part of western myths and legends as Heartwind Isle, in this day and age it seems it is being actively used.

This manse specializes in underwater movement, it can create large drones that swim in the ocean and further the domain of the hive.

Instead of outright submission, the western hive appears to operate more on trust and cooperation. As such the hive queen has created at least one sub queen armor, which can be used to command parts of the hive as well. This role would most likely belong to an Exalt though, and therefore they could not be enslaved to the hive, which makes it a risk the southern Hive Manse was not willing to take.

While the hive still gladly sacrifices males, it also has the option to change a person's gender and make them part of the hive's followers. This could even be done on supernatural targets, granted they are willing to cooperate.

Possible candidates for the hive queen include Melika, Iolana and Sesus Ossissa (who would have had to change gender).
