The only surface feature that can be seen of this demesne is a rather secluded oasis about a days travel to the west of Jana. The oasis is located within a formation of natural crevasses, archways and gorges, some of them so narrow that they can only be traversed single file. It takes about half an hour to reach the oasis by foot if one knows how to navigate the terrain.
This demesne was the location of the Hive manse, a living organic manse that served the will of it's Queen and supported the Hive.
The oasis itself quite large and supports an abundant growth of plants and ferns of different kinds, even including some rare vines blossoming up the cliffsides. The way to the oasis can only be found by walking through the winding crevasses, and although it is possible to walk on the plateau, the rocky and precarious terrain does not provide an easy shortcut to the oasis.
The whole rock formation is riddled with cave entrances, some giving entrance to a small cave, others connecting to a network of winding tunnels and underground caves. Some caves connect to an even deeper system of tunnels and that seems just a tad to interconnected to be completely natural.
