Melika is the owner of the Pink Pearl and many other affiliated brothels in the west. She is allegedly a Solar of the Zenith caste, which is confirmed by her circle members due to them having seen her caste mark and having seen her powers at work.

She is also affiliated with the Western Hive, which she may or may not be the hive queen or subqueen of. It is suspected she may not be a Solar at all, or partnering up with another Solar who could be the hive queen.

She is close with Kauri, to whom she is like a mentor figure, and Ingka, who she trusts to guard her home and private assets.

She works closely with Pika to stabalize the west. Her role consists of appeasing the gods, getting quintessence from them, and shaping away the Wyld. The quintessence is used to make the stability last longer and resist from being taken by the Wyld again.

Among her trusted entourage is Iolana, who most likely wears one of the hive queen or subqueen armor and therefore is probably an Exalt.
