A young Solar who has many connections in the West. She's the youngest, but arguably also the most approachable member of their circle. In Diver's Joy she sometimes works as a pearl diver, and in Seahaven she has good connections with The Feathered One.

Kauri has a strong desire for her and her circle to stay off the radar, and doesn't want high profile people such as the party digging into their business. While this desire is shared with the rest of her circle to some extent, she is one of the ones for whom it is the strongest.

She looks up to Melika as a mentor and role model, and idolizes the woman. She also idolizes Azizah to some extent from the stories she's heard about her, but lately this has started to become strained as a conflict has emerged between the two.

Kauri often uses an artifact mask to assume the persona of Cerulean, though it can never be said for sure if it's her donning the persona (though it always seems to have been so far).
