Character History
Moonbeam McKnight has been through a lot in her 30 years of life. She’s been married, widowed, and suffered unimaginable loss. She was raised in the Nation by her kinfolk in a small Parrish in Louisiana. She grew up screwing off with her 11 brothers and sisters in the swamp. She learned conflict resolution and team work growing up as one of eleven mouths to feed. She also tends to get herself in trouble from tumbling head first into the subjects of her interest.
Sick of the small town nothing, Moonbeam moved away from her barefoot life the second she turned 18 and headed off to New Orleans, where she met her mate, a Glasswalker Ragabash named 404. They fell in love pretty much instantly and lived in bliss from the time she was 21 to the time she was 27 until he disappeared.
She still has no idea what happened to him, she just figures he died. It still haunts her and it happened three years ago, but it’s a pain she certainly carries with her. Being a 30 year old widow is rough.
Moonbeam took up a pretty heavy drinking habit and has just tried to cut down on her drinking. When her Uncle died a month ago, he left Pawn Takes Queen, a pawn shop slash scrapyard that has parts, random things you need, and the drivable cars nobody wants. She’s already worked there for the past three years since her husband was killed and is just finding herself running it now. Where did he put that key to the safe? Did he even keep financial records?
Moonbeam now spends the days looking after the shop and trying to figure out where the hell her uncle put everything.
