Massive stone walled docks which can withstand all manner of attacks but the most devastating. Occasional planters of jasmine cheer the place up, giving it a less militaristic feel, but the siege equipment set up to defend against attacks from the sea leave no doubt as to their purpose.

The Western Docks are the primary docks on the western side of South Quarter. These docks are often used to transfer goods from sea-going vessels onto smaller river vessels, so they can be taken upstream.

The Western Docks are notable for the large amount of birds that visit, not to mention their bravery, as some of the seagulls are not afraid to steal food right out of the hands of people having lunch.

The docks were destroyed a few years ago after an attack by a giant Sea monster and have since been rebuilt in stone to prevent such devastation from ever happening again, which seemed to have protected it during The Siege. It is soon becoming the centre of commercial shipping and trade once more in the district.
