Red House

Brothel in the South Quarter

Contained in: South Quarter

Painted ladies lounge on soft couches, draped in taffeta and silks, with bells attached to their clothing. Bare flesh is on display here and it's clean, freshly perfumed flesh.

The Red House is a large opium den that doubles as a brothel. Though it is not too hard to find a dock-frock anywhere in the South Quarter, none rival the quality, quantity and depravity of the Red House; Tattle Tailz is the Current Madam of the House.

The Red House itself is divided into three sections, one catering to the commons, one to the wealthy and one to special individuals only. It is involved in most sinful endeavours imaginable. Drugs are available to help enhance, but it's not for free, oh no. The finest of the ladies are costly, House Xueris after all; only buys the best trained. Which means when the noble houses have fresh young lads that need entertaining, they can bring their imagination to life in all the funnest ways possible.

The commons, that is the front of house girls that go up for a quickie then come back down, a high turnover of customers to bring in the coin. They only go up to the first floor of the building, up on the second floor the rooms show far more opulence, the money that changes hands here on this level is in high quantities. Deals can be made in the "safety" of a grand room, and with a few girls to help sweeten the deal - well it's a good way to do business, not to mention the information that the girls pass on. Gossip is always useful. Sometimes a temporary stage or entertainments are set up in the commons, but not as frequently finely or flamboyantly as is available in backrooms, this is where tawdry acts are sometimes rehearsed before being deemed worthy for a finer more financed folk in the deeper layers.

The special individuals are not catered to on site, these are the girls or boys that travel out in carriages, off to secret and often clandestine places for meetings on a grand scale.
