Psychics are a special type of Psions who seek to copy the powers of others to manifest their own psionic power.
Where Wilders let their emotions power their psionics, and regular Psions study their own psionic abilities to unlock its secrets, the Psychic seeks to delve deep into the minds of other beings, trying to understand the underlying psyche and emotions that shape their power, and emulating that using a [[Psychic Spirit]].
Gaining sufficient understanding requires a deep and personal connection but once established, it allows the psychic to understand how others shape their power and copy it. As a result, Psychics can gain access to a much wider array of powers than other classes.
However, as Psychics are channeling their psionic power through the Psychic Spirit imitated from others, rather than being naturally balanced to their own psyche, they are more limited in how many different powers they can juggle at once.

Psychics are proficient with the club, dagger, heavy crossbow, light crossbow, quarterstaff, and shortspear. They are not proficient with any type of armor or shield. Armor does not, however, interfere with the manifestation of powers.

A Psychic's ability to manifest powers is limited by the power points she has available, as well as her powers per day. Her base daily allotment of power points is given on the table below.
Unlike the Psion, the Psychic does not receive bonus power points per day for having a high ability score. Even so, her race may provide bonus power points per day, as may certain feats and items.

Class Skills: A character with----
At 2nd, 8th, 14th and 20th level, the Psychic ability gains bonus class skills as a Generalist Psion (Use Magic Device and one skill from the other lists of their choice).
Power Points / Day: A character with the Psychic ability (the Psychic) gains power points in the same way as the Psion,special abilities.

Powers Known: When a character gains the Psychic ability they lose all powers known to them, and no longer gain powers based on their Psion level. Instead, they learn powers in a different manner, described below.actual abilities, see below

Bonus Feats: The character with the Psychic ability continues to gain bonus feats as they level up in Psion.

The character with[[Psychic Spirit]] functions as a Psicrystal for the purpose of certain feats and abilities. Specifically, it fulfills the requirement of having the Psicrystal Affinity feat for purposes of other feats or abilities. If used in this manner, any effects that these feats would effect on the Psicrystal instead affect the Psychic Spirit, though they otherwise function identically.
//Note: Since the Psychic Spirit lacks both sensory organs, a physical form, and the regular Psicrystal abilities, these cannot be improved by feats or abilities.//
At 3rd level, the Psychic gains Psicrystal Containment as a bonus feat. (( Allows for Psionic Focus on Psychic Spirit ))
At 8th level and every 5 levels thereafter, the Psychic gains Improved Psicrystal as a bonus feat. (( Gain a +2 or +3 bonus to one skill or stat ))

At 8th level, the Psychic can swap her prepared powers once per day. To do so, she must give up a prepared powers that she has not yet used since she prepared it at the start of her day, and she may exchange that for a different power she knows of the same level or lower. The swap requires 5 minutes of quiet meditation to complete.

---- Transferance (Su) ----
At 14th level, the Psychic character gains more freedom in the amount and types ofmay access powers they can learn.
The Psychic character can learnfrom other psionic powers from the psion/wilder list, as well as the lists for all other psionic disciplines. Additionally, they can learn powers from non-psion/wilder lists such as the psychic warrior list.
This ability cannot be used to learn powers normally available to Psions at a lower level. For example, the user cannot learn Body of Iron at level 6, even if it is a Psychic Warrior 6 power, as it is available on the Psion list at level 8.
**Learning Powers:** Unlike a regular Psion, a Psychic character learns powers from other psionic creatures.
Learning a new power requires a period of 24 hours spent in meditation in close physical presence of a creature with the desired psioniccreatures directly, without learning the power. After this period, the character makes an Autohyponosis check of DC 15 + the power's level.
If the check fails, the psion cannot understand the power. She cannot attempt to learn that power again until one week has passed.
This ability does not bestow upon the character the ability to know what powers a creature possesses, nor does it remove the ability from the creature, but the creature need not be willing to share it's knowledge. Polite Psychic characters ensure they do though.
**Preparing Powers:** The Psychic character may prepare powers each day after 8 hours of sleep (the same rules for interruptions and ability to avoid sleep apply as for wizards and clerics). After resting, they may take one hour to prepare a limited number of powers available for that day.
The Psychic character may prepare one power for every 2 full manifester levels they posses as Psion, plus their Charisma modifier.
**Manifesting Powers:** The Psychic character can manifest any power they have prepared as many times as they want. They may freely apply augmentations and metapsionic feats (within the normal limits of total power points spent)
**Talents:** In addition to their prepared powers, the Psychic character may always manifest Detect Psionics, Call to Mind, Catfall, Create Sound, Far Hand, Hammer, and Telepathic Lash.
As long as she maintains Psionic Focus, she may manifest any of these talents without paying a power point cost, but the power may not be augmented or affected by metapsionic feats.
The competence bonus from Callreature must voluntarily give up its action to Mindopen her mind to the Psychic. The Psychic then manifests the creatures power using her own power power points, caster level, etc as if she herself had manifested the power. This can be used, for example, to manifest a power at a higher level than the psionic creature is reducedcapable of.

---- Personal Manifestation (Ex) ----
At 20th level, the Psychic may select three powers she knows as her personal powers. She may always manifest these powers, without having to prepare them. They are available, even if her [[Psychic Spirit]] is not accessible.

Full disclosure: Wendele only treats the fall as 20 ft. shorter than it is, the duration of Create Sound is one round per two psion levels (minimum 1 round), and the damage of Hammer is reducedgets up to 1d4.
