Jedi Character Creation

No tags

To participate in Jedi roleplay you will need a Jedi character. Creation of a jedi character is done in a few simple steps, starting with selection of a Species and ending with posting the character to the Game Questions & Character Building forum for approval!

There are two levels of training at which you can start a new Jedi character: the initiate and the padawan level.

Starting a Jedi Initiate

Initiates are the younglings and those that are still training to master the basic skills and techniques. Initiates generally get to play and to learn under the supervision of a responsible adult. They can also expect to be taken on exciting field trips.

To start a Jedi Initiate:

  1. Select Species
Select the Species of your Initiate.
  2. Starting Virtues
You start out with 2 Virtue points in each light virtue, and 1 point each in the dark virtues.
  3. Starting Training Points
You get 30 Training Points (you may opt to start with less)
  4. Starting Training
Spend all or part of your training points on basic Skills and basic Force Powers.
  5. Get Approval
Post the character on the Game Questions & Character Building forum for approval!

Starting a Jedi Padawan

Padawan, also known as padawan learners, are deemed sufficiently trained and have enough knowledge of the world to be sent on minor missions without supervision. They still continue training under a formal master-apprentice bond.

To Start a Jedi Padawan:

  1. Select Species
Select the Species of your Padawan.
  2. Starting Virtues
You start out with 2 Virtue points in each light virtue, and 1 point each in the dark virtues.
    • You must immediately shift 1 point to a Light virtue. You could have a look at Force Philosophies for some background information.
  3. Starting Training Points
    You get 50 Training Points.
  4. Starting Training
Spend all or part of your training points on Skills, Force Powers and Combat Styles
    • You must take at least one step in the Shii-Cho combat style
    • You must learn at least 1 Skill
  5. Get Approval
Post the character on the Game Questions & Character Building forum for approval! This is also where assignment to a master will be discussed.
