To gain some privacy, the side windows, except for those in the doors, are covered up with permanent coverings. The doors themselves have windows that can be slid down, as well as curtains that can be pulled over them.

The upholstery on the inside of the carriage is in cream white. Due to her ladyship's annoyance with the "character" of some of the roads, the seating has been given softer padding on the sides and for the head rests.
