A ghoul of Miss Gladstone, Mr. Galvan is an excellent dressmaker who was friends with the late Mrs. Miggins. He has an interest in the secrets of vampire society, or that group of people who do things at night. He has considerable abilities the tailoring involved in dressmaking and the teaching of these abilities.

Edward Galvan had a fine education in tailoring in Paris, where he apprenticed under Charles Frederick Worth. Galvan had started to set up his own practice when the Franco-Prussian war broke out. Unfortunately, he lost everything and fled back to London before the siege of Paris.

Galvan has now been living in London for a few years again, looking to get back to work in dressmaking.
