Miss Margery Labey is a plain and somewhat gossipy laundry maid. She visits The Night's Watch Gallery every day at 6 AM to collect the days' laundry on behalf of a local company that washes it during the day. Her wages are paid by the company to whom the work has been outsourced, but despite this 'outsider status' she remains familiar with the goings-on of the household. She is 17 years old.
