A genie serving Julia Ashburn, bound to a brass lamp
Extra Fields
Annette seems to be a genie from a lamp. When she is summoned forth, by rubbing the lamp, billowing smoke comes forth from the lamp, and forms into a comely woman of arabian descent. As she moves about a trail of smoke keeps her connected to the lamp, they can be billowing masses, subtle wisps, or even smoke-like fabrics, but the connection remains intact.
The genie calls itself Nur-al-Anat, but Julia Ashburn has taken to calling the genie Annette, which seems to please it.
Upon ghouling there is a player choice: the ghoul gains a favoured ability from the domitor's bloodline favoured abilities, and two of their Attributes are increased by one dot:
Favoured ability: Expression,
Increased Attributes: Appearance, Dexterity
Lamp
Nur-al-anat resides in a battered brass lamp. The lamp itself is of undeterminate age, and clearly handcrafted. For unclear reasons—since it makes the lamp less usable as an actual lamp—the leg of the lamp is detachable: the lamp features a hole in the bottom and the leg has a pin that the lamp can be placed on. The lid seems to be solidly stuck, preventing the lamp from being refilled properly.
Julia Ashburn carries the lamp with her whenever possible. When travelling, she detaches the lamp from its leg and loops a silver chain through the handle. Seeing how there is no oil in the lamp, this allows for easy carrying on a belt or under a skirt. All in all, it is a well-crafted but utterly impractical lamp.
