Character Background

Life

Born in a small town near Innsbruck, George Dann (born Georg Danzl) left the family town in search of a better life. In Innsbruck he started establishing himself as a man who makes connections. These allowed travel and study. These took him from Innsbruck to Vienna and Slovenia, specifically Laibach / Llubljana. He got connections within the Habsburger court and from there travelled west, to Hamburg. In Hamburg he got passage to Hoboken, NJ and traveled on to New York. There he established his conned history, descendance from the Dukes of Krain, a line which at that time was long extinct and the Duchy taken over by the Habsburgers. With such a distance, the con was easily manufactured though. This influence and ease of building a social network and status got the attention of the local clans, especially the Ventrue from (( clan Upper Old Money Manhattan ))

To London

George was turned by a Ventrue sire for his skillset of building networks and getting contacts. As daytime New York is changing, so is the Kindred society. As word spread of American werewolves in London, George was sent East once more. Associates in the Old Country may not even have heard of his passing, or even from his alleged ties. Yet, London is far enough from mainland Europe to continue his claims in the society of Clan Angliae, thus keeping his status and ensuing connections.

Arriving in London, Lord Krain was introduced to the coterie at 23/11 under the guise of being a courier for Masquerade sensitive letters. As yet the coterie has not been informed of his mission regarding the American Werewolves.

Struggles

Life as a vampire can be hard for a socialite conman such as George. At times melonchaly of the things lost can be presenting, as evidenced in quotes such as these: "You know how hard it is to keep your connections if you only can connect at night? How hard it is to play a decent round of Golf or stroll through a sunlit Central Park?", "even dueling has lost it's sazz. Before, I knew I would escape unharmed because of my skill. Yet now, its not mine that makes me live. It's another's blood in my veins keeping me walking".

Interests

George retains his passion in development though. Firearms and inventions still spark his interest and a developing buisiness in those fields can easily attract his attention. Another interest that has not waned is his interest in ladies with ties to wealth and influential families, both Caine and Kindred.

Diary

Tue 23/11

Arrival into London. Got introduced to the Falklands, lady Galloret, miss Gladstone and miss Brook at breakfast. A novel experience. Instead of a wine, dine and be dined upon party, there is chatter and glasses of, I must say the most excuisite blood. Sir von Wedel has been kind enough to give me directions to this house, however has neglected to make the proper introductions. Awkward at best. Upon introductions Lord Falkland immediately offered residence, which I kindly accepted. A lot better than that boor of a Wedel, really.

The Lady Galloret has been informed of her missive included in the package. She has instructed me to have it delivered to Alpine House, but I must be sure to have the right adressee. With her distance and chill and those white, white hair. Matches the description for sure, but still.

Another thing of note was that Miss Brook did not seem to partake at breakfast. Something of note to be further investigated. She is a weird one, with that fox and that feral glance.
