Prince Edmund is the prince of London, and the absolute ruler of local Kindred society. Though named the Prince of London, his domain encompasses the entire London Territory.

A man of such power generally does not bother with the regular population, and though he is sometimes seen in public, most Kindred will only speak to him once or twice, if ever. Prince Edmund has his own people, the Court of the Prince, basically a small clan, which carries out his decrees, communicates his laws and where necessary enforces them.

The Prince is known to be a stern, traditional ruler who values protocol and etiquette and who has little patience with people who don't. He is, however, said to be fair and to follow the Hwicce Code reasonably closely.
