Hermann Enright is the Anglo-German registrar of The Night's Watch Gallery. Reporting to Sir Hanagan and sharing his office space, he is in charge of everything that happens within the gallery space, including exchanges with (the agents of) art collectors, billing, shipping, inventory management and opening and and closing the doors at dusk and dawn. He also looks out for exhibitions and art fairs where works by Sir di Grimani might be promoted, as well as art by other artists that may be usefully exhibited in the gallery itself.
Organised, precise, formal and bureaucratic, there is little love between him and Sir Di Grimani. Sir Hanagan relies on him however, and tries to make sure that the two never speak directly, especially when Di Grimani has voiced an intention to enact a sudden change of plans. Even so, he makes sure that everyone always has what they need before they even realise that they need it.
