Polly Peaton is the wife of Gregory Peaton, the former owner of the The Green Lantern Inn. In her mid-sixties, she often complains about pain in her hands and back. Even so, she is usually the one to direct the carrying of ale into the cellorage and is more aggressive than her husband in getting rid of troublesome drunks, usually wielding a small wooden club for this purpose.
