The reasoning is that this is a noteworthy event in kindred society that might warrant a setting page, instead of just some notes. (Also, most links will link to setting pages, and we're going to get real tired of writing Setting/

In the season of 1878-1879, twelve women were sent to the court of the Prince as candidates for his hand in marriage. The formal procedure for this courtship, including several contests and events, is prescribed by the Hwicce Code.
The Candidates
Each of the clans, and several of the territories in the London Territory may send a women to the court to participate in the courtship.
The following women were sent:

- India (by Clan Bundon)
- Tina Grohen (by Clan Furantur)
- Lady Henburn (by East Anglia)
- Lady Crowle (by Lindsey)
- Lady Gallorett (by Essex)
