Werewolves of a Different Stripe

Allegiance: Wild Children, The

There’s a third type of ‘werewolf’ that roams Paradise City as well. Unlike the uratha and Cursed, these are humans save with a wild heart and the soul of a wolf. They don’t turn into animals, they don’t care about Luna or the Shadow, and they don’t want to hear about any crazy totems. The Wild Children don’t claim territory, wandering nomadically, as their habits tend to leave a real mess behind wherever they pass. They deal with some spirits though, just the ugly ones lurking in their souls.

The Wild Children aren't exactly ones for organized hierarchies or traditions. They're almost all nomads and they don't care much for where they came from, just where they're going and what their next mark is going to be. They're social and travel in packs, but they're so damn dysfunctional, that only their own kind can usually tolerate being around them for any length of time.

These werewolves aren't creatures of balance or harmony but of sin and vice. Like the Shadow mirrors the material world, they mirror any idea of virtue, albeit through a dark reflection. The Wild Children are creatures of indulgence and rampant hedonism. They indulge their vices often, with no care for the consequences.

Like the Cursed, the Wild Children can spread their condition via a bite. They can rage like an uratha would but they don't have the full range of shapeshifting their "cousins" can call upon. When a Wild Child shapeshifts, their features become hardened and more feral. They grow elongated teeth and claws which they can use to rend or bite. Unlike the uratha, silver has no additional effect on the Wild Children.

Wild Children have no totems and no Gifts; they have no ability to Reach across the Gauntlet but their actions can certainly change resonance, and with it, the Essence generated. They're creatures of the material realm, something for which most uratha are thankful.

They can be found on all levels of Paradi City as their nomadic nature sees them travel to avoid the inevitable consequences of their actions.
