Shanae isn't a tall woman. She's about five and a half feet tall, compact, with thin arms and legs. She's usually dressed like every other club girl on the street; a black miniskirt, midriff top with tasteful tears, a see-through pink jacket on her shoulders, and a pair of metal-studded knee-high boots. Her hair is done in finely woven corn rows and her skin has an ashen undertone to it, which bright lighting highlights all too clearly. There's an odor of perfume on her as well which tickles the nose as she approaches.

She wears mock-up jewelry. Glittering stones in her ears which are crystal, not diamond. Gold-colored metal bracelets, a gold-colored necklace, but up close, it's obviously cheap. She's decorated by her domitor and his taste in her attire shows his true regard for her.

Shane is Shackles sister and helped raise him as a child. When Shackles went to prison those many years ago, she was left behind without a support network. Their old friend, Cole, had been changed by then and Shanae didn't know about the falling out between the two men. He took her in then embraced her and made her his with the vinculum.

Shanae is being used by Cole, the same as anyone else in his circle, and her immortality was "gifted" her purely to spite Shackles. Despite this, the blood forces her affections, and thus compels a modicum of her loyalty. Iron-Eyes still meets with her in secret, from time to time, but she's critical of her brother and sees his actions as hypocritical. She warned Farrah McKinley to run from both Cole and the Broken-Chain.

Whether or not Shanae has maintained her Tell or not, or what it was, is currently unknown.
