A daughter of Pennsylvania Kinfolk (to the Children of Gaia, of course) who grew up through the sixties and seventies, they were absolutely surprised when they learned their youngest child was Garou. They fully expected all of their five children to simply remain Kinfolk — that's not to say, however, that they weren't happy for Tabitha. They quickly decided against nicknaming her Tabby Cat, and instead chose to stick with just Tabby. Tabby grew up happy. Her parents were happy. Her brothers and sister were happy. But she always felt a little outside of the family unit.

Her parents would look at her with concern whenever she suffered some minor disappointment (or major, like her middle school boyfriend breaking up with her), like they expected something to happen, but it didn't. Not until she was twenty-three.
