Miles Reynolds was born and raised in New York City and as such has a great fondness for the region. His family has always been kinfolk. Not once has there been a changed one within his direct bloodline, still he was raised with some sense of pride in what his blood has.

Miles doesn't quite understand it all, things haven't been made too clear on what's exactly expected from him, but he does know that there is no arguing. You do what's asked and expected, try to keep your head down, and serve the greater good.

It was no surprise he took to being a street cop with that sort of perspective shaping one's character. In a way he feels a bit more sense of direct contact with many of the stories he's heard but rarely witnessed first hand. At least as a cop he gets to "get closely involved" with something rather than being left to guess what the changed are doing.

He's quite the gutsy youth. He's hard lipped and never rude or disrespectful, but many that look for fear in his eyes seldom see it. More so they see someone that wishes he was more than he was, able to give more than he can give. Ultimately it makes him a man with a lot to prove and unfortunately the lack of self image to believe he can achieve it.

His parents have not completely been approving of his decision for social service after refusing to take his BAR exam and join the family in their local practice. Luckily there wasn't much care the ones with the real power to choose for him in the subject. To them his family was already handling the legal issues, perhaps they figured a cop could be useful. Either way his father claims to expect Milo to repay him for law school. As always empty threats.
