Differences on Christine Babou
//"Bonjour, Je m'appele Christine, Christine Babou. Je travaille ici comme standardiste"//
Starting from humble beginnings as a switchboard operator in a hotel in Paris, France, Christine eventually rose to the top of the city’s Vaudeville acts, and lived a life in scandal with an American, of all things!
Said American brought her back to the states, and she quickly left him for a more intriguing group of characters in the New York art and theater scene… the rest, as they say, is history.
Christine speaks perfect English, but at times affect an accent because it amuses her, particularly if someone new is around. She still speaks fluent French, but her usage of the language heavily betrays her age, even if she looks like a young woman, she is not.
Broadway is of course the Toreador Primogen's chief interest in the city, but off-Broadway, and any production or show will interest Christine.
While she might seem like a vapid Toreador, it is best to not forget that she has lived in New York for a long time, during which the city was controlled by the Sabbat. Her relationship with her fellow Rose, Qadir, is somewhat frosty. She supports the Sheriff outwardly of course, but it is notable the two are not on speaking terms.
