Character History & Paradigm

She was a pretty little rich girl whose parents thrust her into every spotlight she never wanted to be in. From Pageants, to Cheerleading to Fundraising they dictated every aspect of her life until their helicopter crashed in Hawaii.

For a while their business partners decided to do the same until Peyton just… fell off the map. Some people say that she cashed in some old pageant winning bonds… dropped out of college… and is touring the country on a Party Bus.

Honestly, they don’t care. It gives them free reign to run the parent company as they see fit.

Pey’s fortune is accumulating without her knowledge, direction, or any attempt at managing it. In fact, the stipend she receives is generally forgotten and unminded. But only by her. There are other, more avaricious interests who desperately want the company, the money, and most of all, control over the plants and machinery that produce the Chandler family’s cosmetics.

The Sanctum

A Party Bus: The bus serves as Peyton's personal Sanctum; it is one that is always

mobile. Within the bus are hidden compartments which are capable of

hiding spell components, ritualistic supplies, or other magical items.

The Driver: An aging Ecstatic by the name of Journey Weir

Journey

is a useful fellow to know. He ran away from home at the age of fifteen and

traveled with his favorite bands across the country serving as a Roadie,

Stagehand, and later a Driver. He is a person of deep spiritualism and arcane

insight. Journey is the sort of fellow who always knows a shortcut, where to get

various substances of questionable legality, and has friends in high places. He

has been traveling with Peyton since he discovered her burgeoning talents during

her Awakening during a Rave.

The Avatar - Delirium

Delirium manifests herself to Peyton an ever-changing

form. With heterochromatic eyes of blue and green, she is a goddess of primordial power and wisdom whose insight is often presented in the most unexpected ways.

Peyton knows Delirium's secret. Do you?

Paradigm

You Only Think it Makes Sense

The core of existential philosophy, this paradigm insists that Creation is indifferent and possibly meaningless until and unless we choose to impose meaning on our small part of it. Magick comes from wrangling whatever cosmic mysteries or principles you believe in and realizing that your belief is the thing that gives them power. Ultimately, then, magick comes from within. The Universe is an Etch-a-Sketch, and mages learn how to twiddle the knobs. At its extreme, this view maintains that nothing means anything… and that, perhaps, everything exists only in a mage’s head. Who’s to say this view is wrong? After all, the Universe might simply be a game played out in some mad god’s mind…

Time

In the Realm of Delirium, Time is not always linear.

Instead, it is made up of moments that sparkle like colorful little fish. The

time-sequence is connected; however, the pattern is often chaotic. At times the

Fish swim together following a straight line in a pattern easily defined. During

others, the school of fishies is scattered and difficult to follow. Within

Peyton’s Sanctum, she chooses to focus on a fish-tank fitted into one of the

walls. When she is away from the Party Bus she instead employs a little trinket

box. In the shape of a Beta Fish, it is fitted with an inlay of beautiful, Swarovski

Crystals that sparkle in rainbow prisms of color. The hinged opening conceals

the hallucinogenic drugs that aid Peyton to travel to the chaotic realm where

Delirium reigns for it is there she will find them.

Life

Life Magic is called into focus for Peyton through human connection. This often involves an exchange of bodily fluids. This could occur in the form of a deep kiss where saliva is passed from person to person. It can be obtained from biting someone's lip until her teeth draw blood. It can be in a moment of self-gratification until she achieves an orgasm while recalling a connection with another person. For more powerful spells Peyton participates in passionate, ritualistic, and tantric sex enhanced by the use of marijuana or ecstasy in order to bring an intended magical effect.

Mind

The focus of Peyton's Mind Magic is olfactory. She uses a blend of herbs and oils infused together to create perfumes and incense whose scents are believed to achieve inner calm or a meditative state. Often, these items are combined with stimulants known to trigger a dopamine response.

Correspondence

Correspondence, the relation between here and there is achieved by Peyton in the form of movement. Usually, this is by dancing, running, or Yoga. Capturing the

The rhythm of a beat and distancing herself from reality until nothing but sound

and sensation are left allows Peyton to find the core of her art and to bring

her magic into focus. This can be rather awkward! Coming upon a girl dancing in

places, where one would not expect to see a complete release of inhibition is

odd indeed.

Equipment

Does it Glow? She has it. Ribbons, Hoola Hoops, Glow Sticks, Pacifiers, Whistles, Yo-Yos... Have you ever seen one at a Rave? Just assume that it is tucked somewhere on the Party Bus.

Candy! Pop Rocks, Candy Necklaces, Candy Clothing, Gummy Worms, Gummy Anything, Chocolate, Lollipops, and Bubblegum.

BUBBLES!

Bottles of Water. So much water! Peyton carries plastic Bottles, Infusion Bottles, or Insulated Bottles. Water is important to keep one from becoming dehydrated and to combat the cotton-mouth effects of many party-drugs.

Drugs! Yes, that too. Paraphernalia of all sorts make

being a druggie a cinch!

Rave Clothing! Peyton has cute hoodies and furred leggings galore as well as hosiery in every color of fishnet. One has to look their best for partying! Other clothing? Sure, she's got that too. Her preferred manner of dress is soft, tactile, and revealing (or at the very least comfortable.)
