Cirice was turned into a ghoul at the age of 19, and served under the tutelage of her great uncle for 175 years before she was considered competent enough to be turned. Now the Tzimisce don't quite keep it in the family quite like the Giovanni, but the Tzimisce are highly guardrded, secretive, even a bit clandestine. As such, much like the Giovanni they tend to turn family members, but this is only a propensity and not an absolute.

After all of her years of service, she had finally proven to deserve the gift, so her great uncle talked to the upper echelons of the clan before the embrace. This was a necessity for the Tzimisce, because the elders liked to keep tabs on who and how many were lurking. As it was a tradition in her sect, Cirice or Violet as she goes by, did choose to follow The Path of Metamorphosis in order to do her great uncle proud. It all made sense to her, because why even be capable of the great art of Vicissitude and not use it to its maximum? This is an artform that could make a Tzimisce so much more than just kindred, and it was the secret core discipline of her clan, which they protected with their lives.

Those on the path of metamorphosis don't put Faith in Kane like many Sabbat, even as they linger among them, but they play a careful lip service to the Sabbat, as they are rather conservative as a group and being against that is a good way to end up as a pile of ash.
