Introduction

For those of you who have opposing schedules, never see a ST or simply just want to get your introduction to the city over and done with, post your means of introduction (did you have a letter/word sent to the Prince ahead of your arrival, has someone vouched for you/spoken on your behalf, are you a kindred in good standing etc)

An introduction is where the Prince formally accepts you into the city, and while a formality in some ways, it is of importance for you to be an accounted kindred, as everyone who is not is free game for the scourge, and has no feeding rights within the city limits. Being welcome in the Prince's domain means that you agree to abide by, and support, his rule.)

The ballroom of Lexington hotel serves as one of many Elysiums and is where Prince Baldassare meets new arrivals for the most part. The room itself is ritzy, chandeliers in the ceiling, the type of place where magnates and politicans hobnob it, except that this place has been kindred exclusive for the last couple of years. Arranged on an elavated platform is the seat of the Prince, not quite a throne, but clearly not far from it. Next to that, a small table, and another seat for his mysterious consort, when she is in attendance. This night like most others, the Prince stands by his chair, discussing with the Seneschal, as a new arrival enters, and his focus turns to you. His dark eyes studies your every movement, seconds ticking past but feels like minutes, before he finally speaks.

"Good Evening Kindred., and welcome to New York. I am Prince Baldassare of Clan Ventrue, please make your introduction, and state your intentions in my city, so that I can consider granting you rights in accordance with our traditions."

He looks young, with a young man's energy, but he speaks as an old man, with carefully weighed words and measured tone. His own presentation short and to the point, not even mentioning his sire, since most of that information is well-known.

August Travers had been embraced in New York with the Prince's permission. He had been Presented, Tested, and Released by his Sire, Ursula Alcala. Still, this was his first time coming here alone. "My Prince, I am August Travers, Childe of Ursula Alcala, Childe of Thomas Bostrom." He clasped his hands lightly behind his back and offered a polite bow.
