Major South Voran city on the island of Urt
Bloodport is a major South Vorus city on Urt, on the southern tip of the island. It sits by a fertile plain with large sections of farmland. Though a coastal city, its harbour is relatively small due to the mix of cliffs and shifting sandbanks hindering sea trade somewhat.
Bloodport was originally called Suetarban, but was renamed after the landing made by Ermis Tenderfoot the Great there, several centuries ago. At the time, a lot of blood was spilled during the invasion of the city, though sources disagree on who's blood it was - regardless, many died in the period around the landing there, thus naming the city.
A copper statue of Ermis Tenderfoot, covered in patina and the occasional seagull, stands watch in the cities harbour.
Bloodport is a bit over a weeks travel from Duirt, though most travel by sea which, with prevailing winds, can save a few days.
A small village nearby was affected by a Black Miasma that rolled in from the sea, hung around for a week, then disappeared a week later as mysteriously as it arrived.
