No One Can Be Trusted Anymore!!

Sarina was furious when she got home. She explained to the family what took place on the recent journey they just took and how some where traitors to the mission. She explained how Leigh basically gave away what they where doing and WHERE they were at to Lloth...and how it lead to the death of Belle. Then she explained how of course RANI jumped up and defended him which was nothing unsuaul then tried to hide behind her familys relationship to the Atiannas. It took her mother AND grandmother to calm her down when she made claims about everyone turning on the Atianna's it would seem and she would have NOTHING to do with them anymore. It was such a waste of life in her opinion when all Belle did was help them to save THEIR world. Eventually she just turned and stormed out of the room...her grandmother shaking her head in amusement seeing that the girl DID inherit "her" temper. Her eyes moved to Storm and all Beluvial said was "how do you want to handle this situation"

*After an emotional conversation with his father, Sami will approach Beluvial and Storm when Sarina storms out.* Based on the...talk...I've had with Leigh. And both of your training me in learning about magic. It's plausible that the death was unavoidable. It was hard not to link him with it at the time but looking back there are other options.

I don't disagree with Sarina that Rani may take a few too many liberties with her relationships and think they give more status than they do...but emotions were raw at the time. And I think that's all for now... *gives a bow to the matriarchs of the family and exits. Heading to the Old Forest.*

A letter arrives by messenger person for Lady Storm.

Lady Storm,

I am writing in an attempt to mend relationships between House Frost and House Atianna, especially since I have an emotional bond to your House and even consider the Atiannas as 'family'.

As to what happened, it was implied that it was Leigh's fault that the demon spider-queen killed Belle, and he was seen speaking to the corpse of the last morgh we killed, but there is no proof that he was directly responsible. I do intend to try anf find out but I believe that the death of Belle by the demon-queen was unavoidable as we were previously warned that she would know when we got the flower.

It was when Sarina started threatening to kill Leigh that I felt I had to step in in his defense. After all, if we started killing others on a whim, we would be no better than the monsters that we fight. We need to seek the truth of the matter. We also have to stand together to defeat these threats such as the Horde, Father, and anything else that turns up. If we let our squabbles break us apart, then they win.

I do apologise for any distress caused and I wish to stretch out the hand of friendship to Sarina in the hope that she will accept it. If you or Lady Beluviel wish to discuss this matter further with me, I am at your beck and call.

Your apologetic servant

Rani Frost.

Attached to this letter is a note.

Storm - We should get together sometime for social tea and cakes sometime before our squabbling children make it harder to do so. - Katrina
