TO ALL WHO CAN READ AND ANNOUNCED TO THOSE WHO CANNOT

In the absence of the black miasma over the city and the rumors of waves of doom, the city has announced a tournament to be held this weekend. Let this show of force reassure all within the city of our strength! We have overcome many threats in the past and even survived the breaking of time! These threats will pass as all others. The tournament will consist of three parts and three champions to be announced and awarded prizes. The sections are as follows: Melee, Range and Magic! One last surprise will await the three champions afterwards to be named Grand Tournament Champion. Please sign up at the Arena with your name and area of competition, you may only compete in one section. If you cannot write there will be someone who can write for you.

(( Please set your characters who are participating under this thread with what section they want to participate in. Only one character per player per section, violators will be removed from the tournament! ))

Rani pouts a bit as there is no category for 'slipperiest or sneaky person.' She stares at the notice a bit then decides to have a talk with the organisers and see if side shows are allowed.

Because the sneakiest person is already going to win just by taking all the money from people in the stands watching.

*the burly and gruff looking guard, who seems a bit disgruntled to be on desk duty with the sign up scribes gives a look to the little man talking to Rani, raising his eyebrow and pointing a menacing finger* Ye best not be takin' that 'ard earn-ed money from them folks in tha' stands. This tourney is fer liftin' folks up an' givin' confidence in tha' city. Imma be workin' an' keepin' me eye out fer ya. Best knows tha' rest of them guards workin' will be lookin' a'swell.

*then he looks to Rani and says in a much kinder, but still kind of gruff tone.* I'm sure there'll be plenty ta do on tha' sides m'Lady Frost. Lots ov vendors sellin' different foods on sticks and what not, people will for sure be needin' entertainments 'twixt tha' 'bouts a'swell.
