Digging for clues?

No tags

Jaeden could be easily seen by the rest of the group as they rested in the recently consecrated voran ruins as he wasn't about to leave his charge unprotected. But he was digging with his shovel, was he actually digging for clues? It was hard to tell unless some of them came closer or asked him about it later. But it turned out that he was planting flowers for the dead, flowers that were cherished in both Ecclisian and Voran culture for such a purpose.

He was just trying to do his part to leave the place a little better than when he had come.

Rani thinks that's a really cool thing to do so she'll help.

*Alicia was humbled by Jaeden's care for the dead, and joined him in the effort. Though she did not say it, he could tell she was impressed by his initiative and glad to be able to support him in this*

Once we have cleared the threat here, we should take some time to tend to the bodies of the undead that attacked us. *she suggested* Though their souls have long since departed, giving rest to their bodies may alleviate some of the suffering these spirits endured.

*She looked to Rani*

Lady Frost, would you be willing to say a prayer that is fitting regardless of the religions of those who passed here, something to perhaps help appease their restless spirit?

*Alicia was religiously educated so she was certainly able to make up her own prayers, or even recite something applicable from the Ecclesian Canon, so her asking Rani was no doubt a well considered request.*

"I can try. Sure"

She says something that she remembers her soster saying once.

That would be very nice Lady Alicia. I do not know if the priests of their faith might come out to do the same. But we should invite them so they can feel this place is blessed for all.
