With a population numbering in the two hundred thousands Taserin is the capital of the Igani and the residence of Selim al-Najib.

The city was founded by the first sultan of the Igani on the Deep Desert Road where three oases were within the vicinity. Over time, as the sultanate grew, the city grew to become one of the major trading posts along the deep desert road.

Points of Interest

Sultanic Palace: The palace of former sultan Selim al-Najib is situated in the center of Taserin. The palace gardens are filled with displays of wealth in the form of fountains. Also within the palace walls is the harem, in which the wives and concubines of the sultan reside. Even though Selim al-Najib is no longer Sultan of Igani, the palace is still called the Sultanic Palace, as it is of such splendor.

Kanbei's Dojo: Kanbei opened his own Dojo in Taserin. This Dojo is one of the first to allow women to train in the Martial Arts. It is also the only Dojo where the wives of the sultan train and teach.

Becna's Smithy: Near the industrial district is a smithy surrounded by an area of explosion marks. This smithy is owned by Becna, and his gained a reputation is one of the more dangerous locations in Taserin. Despite this reputation Becna is well-known because of her child-like appearance and the fact that this smithy provides explosives directly to the sultanate.

Taserin Jewellers: This small group of jewellers has been producing a steady stream of insect-themed feminine jewellery since they've taken up shop in Taserin.
