Chiaroscuro is a city known as a major trade hub and economic power in the South of Creation, and the end point of the Deep Desert Road. It is the seat of the Thri-Khan, the ruler of all the Delzahn. The city contains numerous districts, ranging from the extremely controlled and relatively safe Plaza to the most dangerous slums. In effect the city is ruled by the noble Delzahn. Both duelling and racing are favoured pastimes, both being conducted within the city itself.
