Khoy's most notable features are the extensive farmlands surrounding the city, producing large quantities of food to supply other [[sayati]] cities. The city has a large shrine dedicated to [[irana]]. Khoy lies at the western end of the Shattrah - Khoy trade route, west of [[Muyashil]], north of [[Chadegan]] and south of [[Afouz]] Khoy is alwasy in competition with [[Chadegan]].
