Faction Information
A city sited along a major river in Melitea, a major battle was fought in the 780 Thesian War in the mountains north of the city between Melitea and Teimos where the king, Chares Kokkinos fell in battle. His wife Varvara Kokkinos fled with their children Demetrios Kokkinos and Sotiria Kokkinos to Velika as Teimos' victorious armies approached.
The city is currently without a ruler, but Petros Raptis looks to be favored candidate after coming up out of political nowhere and months of indecision between the candidates Dimos Metaxas, who held the favor of King Herodotos of Neraida and would've tied the city's fortunes to Teimos, Gavril Floros whose strong arming brand of politics would've resulted in an uprising against Teimos' hegemony even if he hadn't been in favor of that, and Demetrios, the disappeared son of the previous king who was backed by the more moderate and traditionalist powers in the city.
