Seems to have difficulty socializing with other cadets, but team assignments seem unhindered. Cadet showing signs of disregard for instructors and senior cadets, even under threat of disciplinary action. Despite this cadet seems to maintain proper discipline. Recomendation: closely monitor cadet, if disregard continues give more severe punishment. Complete removal from physical training punishment. Punishment seems to encourage cadet. - Lt. Seri Powe, Main Instructor - Detection of Force Sensitivity - Age: 8 Location: Thanda, Jormungand (Capitol) Activity at time of detection: Combat training exercise, stun rounds, simulated urban enviroment Situation Note: Mainenance oversight after previous excercise left structure unstable, leading to collapse during excercise. Cadet started moving with obvious intent simultanious to collapse starting. Actions managed to save fellow cadet. Both cadets would have likely been crushed by structure if not for Cadet Valian's actions. Recomendation: disciplinary action against maintanance crew, reëvaluation of maintanance protocol. Reaction Note: News of Force Sensitivity well recieved by cadet, initially. Quickly turned to unease. Cadet inquires whether she has to leave the Academy. Cadet seems relieved when told she won't be forced to leave. Jedi present explains the possiblities open to her with the Jedi. Cadet expresses concerns being unable to serve as part of the Military Caste. Instructor argues cadet has much greater possiblities as a Jedi then as a soldier. Cadet seems shocked at instructors reaction. Cadet requests a day of leave to think about the choise. Instructor initially tries to refuse, but Jedi intervenes. Jedi uses authority to have instructor overruled by superior. No action required. - Large incident involving subject - Age: 12 Institution: Admiral Margret Tanacioun Military Academy Location: Mother of Invention (Training Ship), Kutumb System Incident Report: An unexpected micro meteor shower occured durring a standard training excersize. Small particles penetrated the ships hull. Cadet Valian and cadet Persevera where moving through a corridor allong the outer hull, when a pinky sized meteor hit a plasma conduit. The resulting explosion caused a significant hullbreach. Cadet Valian suffered lacerations from shrapnel and severe burns across most of her body. Cadet Persevera's could only partially be recovered, the rest was likely vapourized by the explosion. Cadet Persevera apparently stood between cadet Valian and the conduit when it exploded, causing her to absorb most of the blast. Cadet Valian is expected to make a full recovery. Note: Cadet Valian and cadet Persevera seemed to have been close. Cadet Valian insisted to attend cadet Persevera's funeral and memorial, despite her injuries. There is some concern she may not be able to keep up with other Initiates because she joined much later. The Commander still seems to be determined to see her choise through, despite her initial difficulties. - Intermediate Note - Age: 15 Instituion: Jedi Order Location: Jedi Temple, Unity City, Unity Note: Initiate has shown high levels of dedication to her training. She seems to be encouraged by setbacks, difficulty and failure. Initiate has shown difficulty understanding the value of restraint and that the end doesn't justify the means. Difficulties have not been great enough to warrant action. - Promotion to Jedi Padawan - Age: 16 Instituion: Jedi Order Location: Jedi Temple, Unity City, Unity Note: Kial Valian has shown great progress with her training. Her knowledge of the Force has greatly improved. While she still has difficulty showing restraint, she no longer focusses on results. Seeing value in the course of justice and how that justice is laid down. Her efforts have tracked down a group of child pick-pockets in Unity City and allowed police to arrest the adults responcible. - Promotion to Commander - Age: 16 Instituion: Jedi Order Location: Jedi Temple, Unity City, Unity Note: As she is still registered as part of the Unfied People of Thanda Military Caste, Kial Valian is promoted to the rank of Commander. The promotion is a reward for achieving the rank of Jedi Padawan. The Jedi Council has expressed concernes about the promotion.
