Kial Valian is a Jedi padawan Born in the Unified People of Thanda Military Caste. Though her sensitivity to the Force was discovered while she was still undergoing her military training as a child, she only started her Jedi training after she had completed her military education. She is disciplined, hard working and dedicated.

- Note: Cadet shows above average skill in all subjects and exercises from day one. Seems to have difficulty socializing with other cadets, but team assignments seem unhindered. Cadet showing signs of disregard for instructors and senior cadets, even under threat of disciplinary action. Despite this cadet seems to maintain proper discipline. Recommendation: closely monitor cadet, if disregard continues give more severe punishment. Complete removal from physical training punishment. Punishment seems to encourage cadet.

Detection of Force Sensitivity

- Activity at time of detection: Combat training exercise, stun rounds, simulated urban environment

- Situation Note: Maintenance oversight after previous exercise left structure unstable, leading to collapse during exercise. Cadet started moving with obvious intent simultaneous to collapse starting. Actions managed to save fellow cadet. Both cadets would have likely been crushed by structure if not for Cadet Valian's actions. Recommendation: disciplinary action against maintenance crew, revaluation of maintenance protocol.

- Reaction Note: News of Force Sensitivity well received by cadet, initially. Quickly turned to unease. Cadet inquires whether she has to leave the Academy. Cadet seems relieved when told she won't be forced to leave. Jedi present explains the possibilities open to her with the Jedi. Cadet expresses concerns being unable to serve as part of the Military Caste. Instructor argues cadet has much greater possibilities as a Jedi then as a soldier. Cadet seems shocked at instructors reaction. Cadet requests a day of leave to think about the choice. Instructor initially tries to refuse, but Jedi intervenes. Jedi uses authority to have instructor overruled by superior. Cadet declines becoming a Jedi, saying she is not yet ready to join the Jedi.

Large incident involving subject

- Location: Mother of Invention (Training Ship), Kutumb System

- Incident Rapport: An unexpected micro meteor shower occurred during a standard training exercise. Small particles penetrated the ships hull. Cadet Valian and cadet Persevera where moving through a corridor along the outer hull, when a pinky sized meteor hit a plasma conduit. The resulting explosion caused a significant hull-breach. Cadet Valian suffered lacerations from shrapnel and severe burns across most of her body. Cadet Persevera's body could only partially be recovered, the rest was likely vaporized by the explosion. Cadet Persevera apparently stood between cadet Valian and the conduit when it exploded, causing her to absorb most of the blast. Cadet Valian is expected to make a full recovery.

- Note: Cadet Valian and cadet Persevera seemed to have been close. Cadet Valian insisted to attend cadet Persevera's funeral and memorial, despite her injuries. Recommendation: Psychic evaluation of Cadet Valian.
