Gwynine Vishaniel of the Wraith's Chalice, more commonly known as Senator Gwynine, is the representative of the Ordo Caelara to the Union.

History

Originally a member of the Consilia Cruciata, Gwynine suffered mortal injuries during a training exercise. A visiting Union medic, believing the Vigil being held for her to be premature, convinced her commander to let him take her to a Union medical facility, where they managed to save her life. Though alive, her injuries left her unable to continue her old duties and she retired from the Consilia Cruciata early.

Having some six months of experience dealing with Union people during her recovery and rehabilitation, she was instead assigned to the embassy on Unity, where her talents as a mission sister soon become apparent.

Her understanding of Unity culture and success in establishing relations with the local community let to her being noticed by the Senator Jurgir, the Ordo Caelara senator at the time, who brought her into his personal retinue.

When Senator Jurgir suddenly passed away, his second in command was summoned back to Aethra to appear before the Synod. As the procedures are expected to take a while and Gwynine was both best informed of the ongoing matters and next in the chain of command, she was assigned as interim Senator for the time being.
