Differences on Ataru
Ataru is the fourth of the seven classical [[combat style|lightsaber combat forms]], also known as the "Way of the Hawk-Bat". It is a very swift and aggressive style, using many light blows to get past an opponents' defences. It is most useful in one-on-one battles and on open ground where there is room to manoeuvre, but it leaves the user more open to attack.
Students of the aggression form have an innate awareness of the mobility afforded by the environment. They use their mastery of the force to move around, each action and attack flowing into the next one in a smooth transition that is characteristic of Form IV. Three kinds of rotational movement, called _su ma_//su ma//, are heavily employed by practicioners to perform multiple rapid attacks from different directions.
**Weapon requirement:** This style requires a lightsaber.
