To participate in Jedi roleplay you will need a Jedi character. Creation of a jedi character is done in a few simple steps, starting with selection of a [[species]] and ending with posting the character to the [[forum/Game Questions & Character Building]] forum for approval! Creating aThere are two levels of training at which you can start a new Jedi character: the initiate and the padawan level. [cols] ==== Starting a Jedi Initiate ==== [[Initiate|Initiates]] are the younglings and those that are still training to master the basic skills and techniques. Initiates generally get to play and to learn under the supervision of a responsible adult. They can also expect to be taken on exciting field trips. To start a Jedi Initiate: - **Select Species** \\ Select the [[species]] of your Initiate. - **Starting Virtues** \\ You start out with 2 [[virtue]] points in each light virtue, and 1 point each in the dark virtues. - **Starting Training Points** \\ You get 30 [[training points]] (you may opt to start with less) * You get an additional 10 [[training points]] per missing [[species trait]] if your selected species has less than 2 traits. - **Starting Training** \\ Spend all or part of your training points on basic [[skills]] and basic [[force powers]]. - **Get Approval** \\ Post the character requires only a few stepson the [[forum/Game Questions & Character Building]] forum for approval! [col] ==== Starting a Jedi Padawan ==== [[Padawan]], also known as padawan learners, are deemed sufficiently trained and have enough knowledge of the world to be sent on minor missions without supervision. They still continue training under a formal [[apprentices|master-apprentice]] bond. To Start a Jedi Padawan: - Determine whether you wa**Select Species** \\ Select the [[species]] of your Padawan. - **Starting Virtues** \\ You start out with 2 [[virtue]] points in each light virtue, and 1 point each in the dark virtues. * You must immediately shift 1 point to start as [[Jedi Initiate]]a Light virtue. You could have a look at [[Force Philosophies]] for some background information. - **Starting Training Points** \\ You get 50 [[training points]]. * You get an additional 10 [[training points]] per missing [[species trait]] if your selected species has less than 2 traits. - **Starting Training** \\ Spend all or [[Jedi Padawan]part of your training points on [[skills]], [[force powers]] and [[combat styles]] * You must take at least one step in the [[Shii-Cho]] combat style * You must learn at least 1 [[skill]] - **Get Approval** \\ Post the character on the [[forum/Game Questions & Character Building]] forum for approval!
