During a recent meeting, Thandan Military Command came with an idea to build a large hospital ship. Partial to the idea was that it would allow some of the construction equipment from the Sword of Thanda to be reused. It is the UPTs intention to put the hospital ship at the direct disposal of the Union and the Senate.

As such, my superiors believed it might benefit from the expertise of other Union worlds. To that end I would like to invite you all to the Thandan Embassy, to discuss what sort of unique medical technology your world would be willing to contribute. You are welcome to bring any medical and/or engineering experts you deem necessary to that end.

It is my personal belief this ship could do a lot of good. Aside from helping in crises, the ship would allow the Union to aid worlds in need without the need for military involvement. Preventing provocation or accusations of military occupation.
