Colonel Esthim Streth serves as the Senator for the Unified People of Thanda. He is also the commanding officer of the UPT embassy and the troops stationed there. He is a decorated officer. He is know to be very reasonable in most situations, yet can also be uncompromising in others. He holds his subordinates to high standards. He has little to no tolerance for excuses or complaints. He has a relatively low opinion of politicians.

Lieutenant Streth has been nominated for commendation for his tenacious pursuit of the criminals. Lieutenant Batte will be interrogated before being tried and sentenced.

For an officer of the Unfied People of Thanda Army there can be no greater way of showing their worthiness to wear the uniform. - Note: Seemingly put on a career dead-end when assigned to Kuiper belt Outpost 3, Major Streth continued to perform to the best of his abilities. He continued to lead his life as he saw fit despite clear opposition from Military Command, likely because Lieutenant Batte was the protege of one of its members. The Majors steadfast refusal to give in got him noticed by the senior staff. After distinguishing himself, senior staff concluded that Major Streth had more value then good relations with Military Command was worth. Military Command seems to have taken this better then initially expected.
