Taylan was the founder of the Tennesley Family. The study, and the knowledge of the arcane is few and far between. There wasn't many in Elderglen that have the magical prowess. The Owlkin however, we're known to be the major race to withhold that knowledge. As the Battle of Iron began, Taylan began to petition his own people to assist. Many refused to be part of such a trivial war on power, and land. However, with the silver tongue of Renee Lockhart of the Lockhart family, the Owlkins began to shift their attention to the South. Taylan led their mages to battle, and provide the other races with some arcane knowledge to pass down over generations.
The Tennesley Family is the primary contributor to the access of the arcane with Elderglen. They are constantly looking for more magic to unlock whether it'd be arcane, or druidic.
