Ekmel Mediean founded the Mediean family within Elderglen. The Otterkin are peaceful people, and neutral to the extent of this conflict. They only wish to build homes, formulate works of art, and create an export of fish among the other families. Ekmel reached out an open hand to all of the families within Elderglen, providing them access to their seemingly endless supplies of lumber. They are responsible for nearly 75% of the buildings within the province, assisting in building dwellings for those in need for a nominal sum of gold. Ekmel was knighted, and provided a place among the nobility to continue his expenditure of creations.
The Mediean Family are often seen working hearts of architecture within the province, and aiding others in forming businesses.
