An Italian-American organised crime gang led by Johnny Torrio and affiliated with the Italian Maffia that runs a wide range of criminal activities from loansharking and gambling to prostitution, extortion and significantly, bootlegging.

The gang is in conflict with the North Side Gang and allied with the Genna Crime Family and the Ryba Clan, collectively known as the Chicago Outfit

Though unknown by the general public, the South Side Gang is said to be affiliated with a mysterious family of vampires who provide support, though it is unclear if these vampire actually reside in Chicago or simply visit to provide occasional support. Additionally, certain members are said to engage in the use of magic.
