Temporary rooms are rooms that remain only as long as there are people inside of them. Once everyone leaves the room, it is removed (though it can be created again later). Like permanent rooms, temporary rooms are archived and generate timespans.

Any player can create a temporary room. In the Rooms tab on the left at the bottom just above Private Conversations, the 'Temporary room...' button opens the room creation dialogue.

You can set the Title of the room, and possibly assign it to one of the existing room groups (if any have been configured). You will automatically join the temporary room when you create it.
