This week we have made major improvements to the character sheet system as a whole, as well as many quality-of-life improvements to both the World of Darkness and Pathfinder systems. The major improvement is discussed in this week's blogpost about Changing the Game System Configuration!

Improvements

• Updating the game rules now only invalidates character sheets if those sheets are affected by the actual rule changes. This greatly simplifies the work necessary to check character sheets after a game system configuration change.

• Improved number inputs in various places to increase by more than 1 when pressing +. For example updating pathfinder movement speeds in steps of 5 feet and XP by 100. You can still manually enter values that aren't multiples of the button's step, so removing some XP for crafting is perfectly possible.

World of Darkness

• World of Darkness system configuration has been reworked to a tabbed layout.

• The game system configuration now contains a list of disciplines (and sub-disciplines if you use the Charmlike Powers house role).

• Disciplines on the sheet are now picked via a selection dropdown. This helps everyone with using the same spelling and names for the powers.

• Disciplines on the sheet now automatically link to an page or URL if a link is configured in the configuration.

• Disciplines can now be dragged and dropped to change their ordering to your personal preference.

• Discplines can no longer be manually marked as favoured. This will be reintroduced later with better support for bloodlines.

• Disciplines can have a note. This helps if you want to add a short note about the discipline, or link to a rules page.

• Disciplines are now expanded by default. This makes it easier to edit your character sheet, as you can immediately see which adjunct disciplines you have. [Update to mid-week release]

• Disciplines that were removed are now shown as invalid just like adjunct disciplines [Update to mid-week release]

• Backgrounds are now configurable in game system config and are picked via selection dropdown.

Pathfinder

• Your speed now adds a conditional modifier for jumping to your Acrobatics skill. This is a parity improvement with the rule set.

• Improved a feature where the letter A was shown for a very brief moment when a new level was added to a character instead of the number of the actual level.

• Attacks can no longer have a negative range increment.

• Base speed likewise can no longer be negative.

• Minor layout fix in edit for Arcane Spell Failure and Current Load related to their unit values.

Bugs

• Fixed a bug where editing a [show] block erroneously generates links to other scopes with the > symbol instead of the / symbol that should be used.

• Fixed World of Darkness system configuration bug where Attributes and Abilities dragged into different columns got reset on save.

• Fixed Pathfinder character sheet bug which lead to a duplication of automatic conditional bonusses.

• Fixed Pathfinder character sheet bug which prevented saving a sheet if you hadn't entered the HP for a level. This is fixed by defaulting to 0 HP for a new level.

• Fixed Pathfinder character sheet bug where automatically updated levels did not appear as changed.

• Fixed Pathfinder system related bug that prevented all wiki pages without a character sheet from being saved. (See Ilfrean new page 500 server error, fixed in 26 minutes!)
