One of several Chinese groups within San Francisco, part of the so called Six Companies. The Hip Yee are heavily involved in drug trade and prostitution.

The organization is led by Guo Liang, an elderly man who seeks a peaceful balance with the surrounding Tongs as well as the city of San Francisco, though his enemies tend to die in painful, extremely unlikely accidents that can in no way be brought back to him.
