The site of the Baddow Fields Power Station is situated on the canalized River Chelmer, between Little Baddow and Ulting, close to [[Chelmsford]]. The power station is currentlywas under construction, with for several years. During construction temporary housing was set up for the main generator and steam plant installed. . When construction finished, Lady Gallorett hosted the 'Power Station Ball' in the pristine building before taking the building into use as a proper power station. [[Mr. Skerit]] oversees the day-to-day operations of the station and the construction of themaintenance of the surrounding buildings. The assistant engineer, [[Mr. Bleke]], reports monthly to [[Lady Gallorett]] mostly on the going-ons and construction progress of the power station, as well as the current situation of the temporary setup.
