Differences on Mr. Shorten
Comparing to a removed version
Mr. James Shorten is the valet of [[Sir Di Grimani]]. An anemic, long-faced youth, he is the somewhat dimwitted bastard son of a friend from Sir Hanagans Oxford days. A disappointment to his family, he was given a private tutor after attending the gymnasium, but spent most of his time composing bad poetry and indulging in the English disease with members of the rowing team. Has impeccable taste in clothing and is a master of protocol but lacks creativity. He is grateful to Hanagans for getting him a job but is convinced he is only here until he can get his poetry published. He helps dress and style his master, liaises with the other servants, and attends to the private domestic arrangements of his employer. (Wage: £50)
